I started mine yesterday. We are doing a raw diet with it. My cousin is an NVP of arbonne and does the cleanse often. If cramping occurs, it is usually bc of something you ate and your stomach cannot tolerate it, its how some find out they can't have dairy as much as others! I have noticed no change at all yet, but I did cut what I am eating throughout the day BIG time and do not feel tired and an added benefit, I did not have problems falling asleep like I usually do. 30 minutes of excersise will help with the detox. We are doing fruits, veggies, nuts and beans and at dinner I do make turkey or venison to get the protein in. my husband is a marine and he is doing it with me and the thought of him not eating meat made him freak out! Not impressed yet, but I think it is bc I feel normal, like I do everyday without drinking the nasty drink, but I am eating better and less and am not as lazy as usual, so that SHOULD be motivation enough, right ;)

It depends on how often you fall ill. If you are constantly or even periodically falling ill, it is a chronic and compacting stress that your body is being put through. Even if you overcome it quickly, it is in the longterm where these defense mechanisms will tire and cease to protect.

If you entertain a lifestyle focused on health, then yes, you will not likely be getting any full blown colds.

So this is a good thing then, right? It sounds like if my body's defense system were weak, I'd probably end up with a full-blown cold. :)

I know this feeling very well, although only experienced a few times. I have not been sick for over six months now and a span of two years before that one (not even a common cold), but unlike when I was younger and when my lifestyle was not health focused, I can easily overcome these illnesses with ease when they do strike.

In reality, it how well your body can respond to the attack, whether it is to prevent it or to heal the damage. It is our lifestyle choices (diet, exercise, stress, etc...) that deem how strong our defense truly is.

Best wishes with your health...
